Prayer Reflection – May 29, 2025

Psalm 139:23-24 (NIV)

23 Search me, God, and know my heart;
    test me and know my anxious thoughts.
24 See if there is any offensive way in me,
    and lead me in the way everlasting.

Colossians 3:17

17 And whatever you do, whether in word or deed, do it all in the name of the Lord Jesus, giving thanks to God the Father through him.

This morning, I was watering our lawn.  I placed the sprinkler next to one of the trees in our front yard.  Once inside our house, I was looking out at the early morning sunlight shining through the water droplets with that amazing sparkling quality.

It was a significant pause moment for me with Jesus.  Our tree having an abundance of water and sunshine and everything it needs.

God has provided us with everything we need.  No matter what our circumstances, we can come before him as David does in Psalm 139 in a posture of worship and wonder and gratitude and humility.

How would you describe the season that you are in?  What is Jesus asking you to invite Him into today?  To trust Him with?  To ask Him for?  To thank Him for?  What could it look like to pause for a few minutes and offer Him the rest of the day as worship.

Here is song that comes to mind that I wanted to share with you today:

Endless Well – Jesus Culture –

The Lord bless you!
