Living As Exiles - CW

August Series: Living Faith

This month, we're exploring the book of 1 Peter in a series called Living as Exiles. This book is written to believers to encourage them to pursue their faith while living in an imperfect world. We are reminded that this earthly home is temporary, and therefore, we should live out our faith vibrantly in contrast to the culture around us. We have a living hope that will bring us into eternity — which is our true home!

This Sunday, Pastor Dan Cochrane will be speaking on 1 Peter 4:7-11 – “Getting Ready for the End of All Things”

Everyone is welcome to worship in person this Sunday at 9am, 11am, or 6pm, or join the livestream at one of the morning services. Join us online by visiting the livestream page, or find more info at crossroadschurch.ca/sunday.

NEXT - Tuesday Nights CW

Growth For All Ages & Stages

THIS FALL: The NEXT program is a night for the whole family to grow in faith. Whether you have questions about God, just beginning to trust Jesus, or longing to go deeper, the NEXT program is a clear path forward that we get to walk together!

  • Start with Alpha if you're wondering about life, faith, and God.
  • Move into Foundations to explore what it means to live out your beliefs in real life.
  • Or join Messiah, where we read Scripture together and learn to feed our souls with God’s Word.
  • And while you grow, your kids can too; Awana offers an engaging space for kids to learn about Jesus and build lasting friendships. They will find purpose anchored in the love and truth of Jesus. (Awana is open to any family (kids ages 6 months to Grade 6), who is involved with a NEXT group or is serving in some capacity on Tuesday nights.)

All NEXT groups will start on Tuesday, September 16th this fall, from 6:30pm-8:00pm, with an option to purchase light dinner from the Café. (soup, salads, sandwiches). Doors will open at 5:30pm.

Click the link to learn more on Alpha, Foundations, Messiah, and Awana. Information cards can also be found at the Café.

How Can We Pray For You?

Following each service, prayer team members are ready to pray with you. If you join us in person, prayer is available in the Sanctuary. If you're watching online, let us know your prayer request by sharing it here. Someone will then follow-up with you to pray together.

Do not be anxious about anything, but in every situation, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God." - Philippians 4:6
