Everyone is welcome to worship in person this Sunday at 9am, 11am, or 6pm, or join the livestream at one of the morning services. Join us online by visiting the livestream page, or find more info at crossroadschurch.ca/sunday.

Lunch & Learn- Raney Brown

You’re invited to join us on Sunday, October 5th, as we hear more about the ministry of Raney Brown, who was commissioned through CrossRoads Church 40 years ago. In May 1985, after years of preparation, Raney followed God’s call to Italy. She now lives in Bergamo, a city about an hour from Milan, where she serves faithfully in a local church through women’s ministries and evangelistic outreach. Her gifts of cooking and hospitality play a big role, whether preparing meals for special events and ministry groups, or opening her home to disciple others. Raney is also deeply involved in a camp ministry outside Bergamo, where she helps with renovation projects, supports volunteers, and cooks for children’s camps. Her life and work continue to impact many for Christ.

Debriefing 101 CW

Debriefing 101

Debriefing 101 is an interactive, experiential and skill-building workshop with the objective that each person attending will know the WHY and HOW of debriefing (or having a meaningful discussion with) cross cultural workers. For example, do you have a friend or family member who has been on a short-term outreach team? Would you like to develop your communication skills to draw out their full experience in a meaningful way?
Although geared towards mission agency member care workers, pastors and lay people serving on mission committees, missionaries themselves, and anyone else engaged in resourcing and caring for cross-cultural workers, long and/or short term, it is applicable to effective relationships in other settings as well. The workshop will be held on Friday, October 17th, from 1:30 to 4:30 pm, and Saturday, October 18, from 8:30 am to 4:30 pm at CrossRoads Church

If you are interested, please contact missions@crossroadschurch.ca to be added to the group rate.

Friday, October 17, 1:30-4:30pm.
Saturday, October 18, 8:30-4:30pm.
