Lunch and Learn Wiens CW

Come Hear from the Wiens

Join us for a special Lunch & Learn as we welcome Dan and Kerry Wiens, founders of Inundo Development, and hear how God is transforming lives and communities across Africa through sustainable agriculture, discipleship, and prayer.

Called to Africa in 2010 from their ministry in Calgary, Dan and Kerry established Inundo Development, a model farm that teaches sustainable and profitable stewardship of the land. Their ministry equips farmers with practical skills that restore depleted soil, increase crop yields, and create lasting change for families and communities. Through this work, they demonstrate the hope of the Gospel in tangible ways, addressing both spiritual and physical needs. Dan and Kerry will share stories from the field, lessons learned over more than a decade of ministry, and how God continues to bring renewal, abundance, and hope in places facing poverty, fear, and spiritual darkness.

Come enjoy lunch, connect with others, and be encouraged by what God is doing through this impactful ministry.

Prayer for Nations CW

Prayer for the World

As we come to the end of this series, we’re reminded of the heartbeat that has carried through each message: God’s heart for the world and His desire that everyone has the opportunity to hear about Jesus. We’ve been made aware of the billions who have never heard the name of Jesus, the courage of persecuted believers who hold fast to their faith, and God’s compassion for the stranger, the newcomer, and the displaced. Together, these truths call us to lift our eyes beyond ourselves and to recognize both the great need and the great opportunity before us. Whether across the world or across the street, God invites us to participate in His mission—through prayer, generosity, hospitality, and bold witness—so that every nation, tribe, and language may come to know Him.

Pray:

  1.  For the Stranger (Newcomer/Immigrant): Ask God to help us reflect His heart by welcoming and loving newcomers among us, and that through genuine relationships they would experience the hope and truth of Christ.
  2. For the Unreached: Pray that those who have never heard the name of Jesus would have the opportunity to encounter Him, and that God would send workers, resources, and bold witnesses into every unreached people group.
  3. For the Persecuted Believers: Lift up believers facing persecution around the world, praying that God would strengthen, protect, and sustain them, and that their faith would continue to shine as a powerful testimony.

Baptism

Considering Baptism?

At CrossRoads Church, we believe baptism is an important step of obedience for those who have chosen to follow Jesus. It is a public declaration of faith, symbolizing our commitment to Christ and celebrating the new life we have in Him. We would be honoured to walk alongside you as you take this meaningful step in your faith journey.

Our next baptism opportunity will take place during our Outdoor Service on Sunday, July 12. This special church-wide gathering provides a wonderful opportunity to celebrate baptisms together as a church family in an outdoor setting. If you are interested in being baptized, please complete the baptism form at crossroadschurch.ca/baptism. Once we receive your form, we will contact you to schedule an interview and answer any questions you may have.

We look forward to celebrating what God is doing in your life and sharing in this special moment together as a church community.

Prayer

How Can We Pray For You?

Following each service, prayer team members are ready to pray with you. If you join us in person, prayer is available in the Sanctuary. If you're watching online, let us know your prayer request by sharing it here. Someone will then follow-up with you to pray together.

Do not be anxious about anything, but in every situation, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God." - Philippians 4:6
