CrossRoads Connect Weekly

Come Celebrate Hope! Wednesday, Dec. 24 @ 1pm, 3pm, 5pm & 7pm. Full details here.

Our Response to the King
This Sunday, Pastor Jordan Cavanaugh will explore the theme "What Child Is This?" based on Matthew 2:1-12. In his sermon, he will examine three distinct responses to the birth of Jesus: being disturbed, indifferent, and filled with joy. Pastor Jordan will encourage us to reflect on our own reactions to Christ's coming and the impact those responses have on our lives and faith journey.
Everyone is welcome to worship in person this Sunday at 9am, 11am, or 6pm, or join the livestream at one of the morning services. Join us online by visiting the livestream page, or find more info at crossroadschurch.ca/sunday.

Holiday Office Hours
As we approach the holiday season, please note our special office hours:
The church office will be closed on December 25th and 26th, as well as on January 1st to allow our staff to celebrate with their families.
Regular office hours will resume on December 29th, 30th, 31st, and again on January 2nd.
Wishing you all a joyful holiday season!

Celebrate the New Year

Connect into Community
You are invited to the Gym, grab a dessert on us, and check out our Connect into Community event where we are highlighting our mid-sized groups! Mid-sized groups are a great way to bridge the gap between a small group and the larger body. They are growth or common interest groups that meet for studying, growth, and connection. We are also highlighting our new semester of Tuesday night NEXT groups. We hope to see you there!
Sunday, January 11, after each service in the Gym.

So spread the word, invite friends, family, or strangers, maybe invite someone new you met during the service! This month's meal will be chili served with cornbread. After the 6pm service there's no soup, but instead we will have treats and lattés in the Café. The Café is closed until we re-open after the 6pm service. Pay online or in person.

How Can We Pray For You?
Following each service, prayer team members are ready to pray with you. If you join us in person, prayer is available in the Sanctuary. If you're watching online, let us know your prayer request by sharing it here. Someone will then follow-up with you to pray together.
Do not be anxious about anything, but in every situation, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God." - Philippians 4:6
