CrossRoads Connect Weekly
NEW Series: The Servant King
In this series, we’ll take a closer look at Jesus- not only as our Savior, but as our example. The Servant King invites you to explore what it truly means to live a life of service by following the One who came not to be served, but to serve. Through each message, our hope is that you would encounter Jesus in a deeper way: seeing His humility, His sacrifice, and His heart for others, and begin to recognize your own identity as someone called to serve. This is an invitation to step into a life shaped by love, surrender, and purpose.
This Sunday, join us as Pastor Denise kicks off the series with a message titled “A God Who Came to Die,” reflecting on the profound truth of Jesus’ sacrificial love and what it means for our lives today.
Everyone is welcome to worship in person this Sunday at 9am, 11am, or 6pm, or join the livestream at one of the morning services. Join us online by visiting the livestream page, or find more info at crossroadschurch.ca/sunday.

The Engaged Encounter weekend condenses 10 weeks of pre-marriage counselling into 48 hours. Engaged Encounter focuses on how to communicate well with your partner. Learn from a team of married couples as they present on various topics such as marriage hot spots, conflict styles, finances, decision making, sex, and the art of listening. You will hear the presentations in a group setting and then have private time with your fiancé to discuss each topic as it applies to your own relationship. There is no group discussion. How Can We Pray For You?
Following each service, prayer team members are ready to pray with you. If you join us in person, prayer is available in the Sanctuary. If you're watching online, let us know your prayer request by sharing it here. Someone will then follow-up with you to pray together.
Do not be anxious about anything, but in every situation, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God." - Philippians 4:6

Big Brothers, Big Sisters

Recovery Together
Addiction doesn’t just affect individuals: it impacts families, relationships, and entire communities. But recovery isn’t meant to be walked alone. You’re invited to join us for an educational forum designed to inform, connect, and support those impacted by addiction. This evening will feature a panel of experts sharing insight on family recovery, the Compassionate Intervention Act, and practical resources available within your community.
Through both professional expertise and lived experience, you’ll gain a deeper understanding of how recovery can become a shared journey- one where families are empowered, and communities come together with compassion and care. This event is hosted in partnership with PEP (Parents Empowering Parents), an organization dedicated to supporting families navigating a loved one’s addiction. PEP equips families with evidence-informed tools, meaningful connection, and hope through compassionate, community-based support.
Whether you’re personally affected, supporting someone who is, or simply want to learn more, this is a space where you can be informed, encouraged, and reminded that you’re not alone.
Free to attend: please register in advance to save your seat.
Thursday, April 23, 7-9:00pm. Doors open at 6:30pm to visit resource tables. (Chapel)

Change Maker Workshop
Feeling tired, anxious, or lost? Looking for peace and purpose in your life? Join us for Change Maker, where you’ll discover the 10% root causing 90% of life’s challenges and learn biblical truths that can guide your heart, mind, and soul toward lasting change. Hear from local testimonies about how lives have been transformed, and be encouraged that God does care!

Dress in your English garden best (hats and fascinators encouraged!) and enjoy a meaningful time together while helping provide safe housing, mentorship, and ongoing support for women facing unexpected pregnancies. Your support helps create stability, dignity, and a hopeful future—for both moms and their children. Because when mothers are supported, children thrive.

Saturday, May 2, 2026, 1:30-3:30pm, doors open at 1pm. (Chapel)

Worship Fundraiser
Home Church is hosting Home Together, an evening of worship in support of The Mustard Seed, a Christian non-profit caring for people experiencing homelessness and poverty since 1984. With locations in seven Western Canadian cities, The Mustard Seed meets physical, mental, and spiritual needs, helping individuals grow toward greater health and independence.
The night will feature:
- Paul Baloche, acclaimed Christian songwriter and worship leader, known for congregational favorites like “Open the Eyes of My Heart” and “Above All”, and a three-time Dove Award winner.
- Mack Brock, worship leader, songwriter, and former member of Elevation Worship, known for songs like “O Come to the Altar” and “Do It Again”, now continuing to lead and inspire as a solo artist.
