The NEXT program is how we walk together. Whether you have questions about faith, just beginning to trust Jesus, or longing to go deeper, the NEXT program is a clear path forward.
You don’t have to have it all figured out, just come as you are. There's a group waiting for you here, and we can't wait to walk this road and grow with you. All NEXT groups run on Tuesdays, with an option to purchase light dinner from the Café (soup, salads, sandwiches).

GOD'S HEART FOR THE STRANGER
Join Pastor Tracy for a thoughtful, grace-filled journey as we explore one of today’s most complex topics through a Biblical lens. This isn’t just another small group study—it’s an invitation to grow in understanding, compassion, and faithful action as we live out God’s heart for the nations.
In Canada and around the world, immigration, refugees and newcomers is one of the most talked-about—and often most misunderstood and controversial—issues of our time. God has called us to welcome the stranger among us (Deuteronomy 10:19). How will we respond?
Bonus: Matthew Soerens of World Relief will be the guest speaker at church Sunday, May 17 and then join us for lunch and our final group session.
Come ready to listen, learn, and be transformed. If you are open to seeing immigrants as those who are made in God’s image, regardless of status, this is a great space for you. If you are not sure, this could be great to help you in that journey.

GOD'S STORY - ZOOMED IN
God's Story - Zoomed In is a 5 week study that includes the overview of the story of the Bible and what it means for us today.
How have you thought of the Bible in the past? Is it a rule book? A fairy tale? A book about a judgmental God?
We want to introduce you to the Bible as a story that God is telling about Himself and us -- a story that we are invited to participate in. We welcome you to come with all your questions and to discover God's original intention with our world, what went wrong and what God has done to fix it.
Together we will see what this means for our lives today and how God's story gives us hope for the future.
No Bible knowledge is required. Come with your questions and doubts and join the conversation!

RAISING ROOTS - Parenting Course
Join us for a powerful 5-week parenting group led by Barry and Jordan, designed to equip and encourage parents to lead their families with faith and confidence. Together, we will explore biblical foundations and practical ways to help you shepherd your children well through today’s realities.
Our journey begins in Book of Deuteronomy, focusing on chapter 6 and God’s call to: “Love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your strength…” We will discuss what it means to model authentic faith at home.
We will also address insights from The Anxious Generation, helping parents understand the cultural pressures shaping today’s kids. Additional sessions will focus on “Collecting Your Kids” (staying emotionally connected), “Directing Your Kids” (providing loving guidance and boundaries), and discovering the life-changing impact found in the power of a praying parent.
Come grow in wisdom, community, and courage as you lead your family in faith.

- Start with Alpha if you're wondering about life, faith, and God.
- Move into Foundations to explore what it means to live out your beliefs in real life.
- Or join a Growth Group where we read Scripture or reflect on sermons together and learn to feed our souls with God’s Word.
- And while you grow, your kids can too; Awana offers a fun, engaging space for kids to learn about Jesus and build lasting friendships. They will find purpose anchored in the love and truth of Jesus. (Awana is open to any family (kids ages 6 months to Grade 6), who is involved with a NEXT group or is serving in some capacity on Tuesday nights.)
- Junior Youth Study: if you're in grade 7 or 8, this is the study for you! We are going to head deep into scripture, starting in Genesis, where we will learn to understand and know our Bibles, learn God’s heart for us and the world.
ALPHA
ALPHA provides a space to explore the Christian faith in a relaxed, community setting. The course is designed to be inclusive for anyone in the early stages of exploring faith and has a desire to learn about Jesus Christ. The first night of Alpha is a "Come & See" experience. If you're unsure if Alpha is right for you, just come check it out. It's a no pressure, no follow up, no charge opportunity to see if Alpha would be a good next step for you (and maybe a friend).

FOUNDATIONS
FOUNDATIONS is a course designed to help us build our lives on Him and dig deeper into what it looks like to fully follow Jesus and how we can represent God to the world around us. We will immerse ourselves in the things of God, recognizing that what we do flows out of what we believe.

PROPHETS
Have you ever wanted to read your Bible more consistently but don’t know how to get started? Or maybe you’ve read the Scripture a lot, but want to experience it with fresh eyes. Prophets is a group that where we’ll read the Prophets books of the Old Testament together this winter and see how the Scripture makes sense in our lives today!
Each week, we will spend time on our own reading through the Prophets and seeing how it applies to our lives today. On Tuesday evenings we will meet to talk about what we noticed, what confused us, and to hear some teaching from Pastor Denise. We’ll then see how the Bible is relevant to us today as we understand more about God’s good character.

AWANA
AWANA is a full year scripture memorization children's program that will be half way though their curriculum in January. If you'd like more information, please contact Pastor Priscila directly at pricilaw@crossroadshchurch.ca.
