This morning the Uganda 2020 team gathered at the church with their bags packed and spirits full of excitement and anticipation. We circled around them as a staff and prayed over them.
They loaded into the church van and headed off. I hear there were good stories shared among the team as they drove into Calgary. At one point the phone rang and a church member was calling to encourage and pray over the team and was able to be connected to speaker so the whole team could listen.
As this message is being written they are just leaving. Their flight has been delayed a couple hours which means they may miss their connecting flight out of Amsterdam to Entebbe. Watch this space.
