Prayer Reflection – March 22, 2024

Matthew 28:18-20 (NIV)

18 Then Jesus came to them and said, “All authority in heaven and on earth has been given to me. 19 Therefore go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, 20 and teaching them to obey everything I have commanded you. And surely I am with you always, to the very end of the age.”

All authority in heaven and on earth has been given to Jesus.

Not some authority or most authority.  All authority.  Perfect authority.  Complete authority.

Therefore we go and show others how to be apprentices of Jesus.  His disciples.

Because of who Jesus is, we have nothing to fear.  We can rest in Jesus and step out in faith and obey Him.

Therefore go.

As you reflect on this Scripture, what is Jesus speaking to you about today?  Perhaps ask Jesus what it looks like today to go.  Ask Him to show you where He is at work and where you can join with Him in what He is doing.

Jesus, how can we be in step with You today?

All for Your glory Lord Jesus!  All for the glory of Your matchless and holy name!

Let’s first be still and wait patiently for the Lord (see Psalm 37:7).  Let’s pray as He leads us today.

Here are two songs by CityAlight that I wanted to share with you:

The Lord bless you!
