Psalm 19:1-6 (NIV)

For the director of music. A psalm of David.

The heavens declare the glory of God;
    the skies proclaim the work of his hands.
Day after day they pour forth speech;
    night after night they reveal knowledge.
They have no speech, they use no words;
    no sound is heard from them.
Yet their voice goes out into all the earth,
    their words to the ends of the world.
In the heavens God has pitched a tent for the sun.
    It is like a bridegroom coming out of his chamber,
    like a champion rejoicing to run his course.
It rises at one end of the heavens
    and makes its circuit to the other;
    nothing is deprived of its warmth.

We have so much that we can thank God for every day, even moment by moment, breath by breath.

Consider the beauty of all that He has created.  As we read in this psalm, the sun is likened to a champion rejoicing to run his course.

When you are next outside during the day, I invite you to pause and thank the Lord for creating the sun.  Thank Him for its beauty and warmth.  Slow down and enjoy the warmth of the sunshine on your face.

As you reflect on all of Psalm 19 today, what else does the Holy Spirit bring to mind that you can thank the Lord for today?

Let’s slow in the presence of our Lord Jesus today and follow where He leads us in prayer.

As you pause with Jesus, I wanted to share this song with you.

Doxology (God Be Praised)

The Lord bless you!
