In Moldova preparing for English Camp

Oct 25:

Our day began as usual……breakfast, fellowship, check-in with each other and devotional. Our very reliable drive Valentin was prompt to take us to the Urban Center on a hwy built for 2 lanes however 3-4 vehicles can fit……yay Valentin!!!!

We arrived at the center to begin preparations for our week of English classes beginning tomorrow, Oct 26. We consulted with the team so that our day was organized for the groups of kids that will be attending the English camp. We spent a few hours at the Urban Center planning and helping with cutting out English words to be used on our first day. The remainder of the day was spent at a different refugee camp in Balsatha.

We are always in awe of how people can have joy even when displaced. We were able to enjoy the camp celebrating a birthday party for triplets ages 4. We are so happy to have Dan and Kelvin with us because they always engage easily with the kids and ready for games at the drop of a hat!!!

Our team sat and listened to a young man from Chisinau share Luke 6:27-31. This illumination to the team that there are already people in here doing the hard work of sharing the gospel and the love of Jesus, serving them, loving them, walking with them and supporting them. We are blessed to be able to witness and walk with others that are serving others as they follow Jesus.

Glory be to Jesus Christ!!!
