3 Who may ascend the mountain of the Lord?
Who may stand in his holy place?
4 The one who has clean hands and a pure heart,
who does not trust in an idol
or swear by a false god.
Romans 5:1-2 (The Message)
1-2 By entering through faith into what God has always wanted to do for us—set us right with him, make us fit for him—we have it all together with God because of our Master Jesus. And that’s not all: We throw open our doors to God and discover at the same moment that he has already thrown open his door to us. We find ourselves standing where we always hoped we might stand—out in the wide open spaces of God’s grace and glory, standing tall and shouting our praise.
Where would we be without Jesus?
Where are we now because of Jesus?
I ask these questions and invite you to pause and reflect on how your life has been changed since the first day that you trusted in Jesus. What is Jesus teaching you in this season?
Consider the awesome privilege that it is to be in the Lord’s presence. The fact that His Holy Spirit lives in us and we get to call God our Father.
As you pause with Jesus today, please prayerfully read through all of Psalm 24 and Romans 5. What is the Holy Spirit impressing on Your heart today from His word?
