Psalm 13:5-6 (NIV)
5 But I trust in your unfailing love;
my heart rejoices in your salvation.
6 I will sing the Lord’s praise,
for he has been good to me.
Today, I invite you to reflect on Psalm 13.
Notice the progression of this psalm as David pours out his prayerful song to the Lord. There is honesty and boldness in his prayer. He knows who God is and this psalm reflects that.
It culminates in a declaration of hopeful trust in the Lord. “But I trust in your unfailing love” (v. 5).
What are the things that we need to honestly pour out in prayer to the Lord today?
Do we know someone whose heart may be hurting in this season? How is Jesus leading us to pray?
How is Jesus leading us to thank Him and praise Him today?
What songs is He putting on your heart?
Let’s pray for our city and the region of Central Alberta as we anticipate Christmas. Let’s pray for open doors and open hearts as we invite people to church to hear the hope that is only found in Jesus.
May our lives reflect His heart for those who have yet to trust Him.
A friend recently shared this song with me and I wanted to share it with you today.
The Lord bless you!
