Guest Pastor: Ashwin Ramani
The Lord said to Abram after Lot had parted from him, “Look around from where you are, to the north and south, to the east and west. All the land that you see I will give to you and your offspring forever.
Genesis 13:14-15 (NIV)
New to CrossRoads?
Welcome to CrossRoads Church! It’s great to have you here. We’d love to meet you and give you some information to help get you connected. Visit us at the Connecting Point in the front foyer or text CrossRoads New to 393939. (Msg & data rates may apply) or click here.
We want to take this time to thank Pastor Brenda Boyce for her energetic and compassionate ways in Children’s Ministries. With Brenda resigning in March, from her role as the Pastor of K-6 Families, we don’t want to miss celebrating her unique gifts and abilities in understanding how kids learn and grow. Brenda was passionate about helping our kids learn about Jesus in new and fun ways. She was generous with her time, energy and resources and has impacted so many lives. Her warm and bright smile will be missed Sunday mornings; but we trust that wherever the Lord leads her next, they will experience the same friendly, outgoing and jubilant person. Thanks so much, Brenda!
Continued Need in our Schools
Thank you so much for the donations that have been received in response to the needs in our public schools. There is still need for food items especially as many schools feed children breakfast, lunch and after-school snacks as well as sending home food for the weekend. Items most needed are individually packaged items such as fruit cups, and granola bar type items as well as breakfast food such as cheesewhiz, jam, cheese slices and fresh fruit. If you wish to drop off perishable items please contact LaurieW@CrossRoadsChurch.ca or drop off items in Ministry Lane. Details available on the postcards in Ministry Lane.
We are growing! Get involved in the CrossRoads Community Garden, and visit the information table in the foyer today following each of the services.
Then... enjoy veggies and dip at the registration event at the garden on Sunday, April 30 following the morning services. Contact firstname.lastname@example.org for more information.
Are you handy? We need a team to build a compost structure and water catchment, plant trees and complete some landscaping. Bring your tools (shovels, rakes, wheelbarrows, sledge hammers, cordless drills, gloves, boots, safety glasses) and be a part of bringing the community garden to life. Saturday, April 29 from 10:00am to 4:00pm. Lunch will be provided. For more information and to sign up contact email@example.com.
