Maskwacis Bible Fellowship

CrossRoads Church has partnered with the Maskwacis Bible Fellowship to provide sponsorship for kids to attend our summer camps. We are excited about the possibilities these funds open up for getting campers on our trips! At least half of the kids coming to camp will need full or partial sponsorship but we try to ask them to contribute at least something to give them some ownership. This summer we will be doing a 12-day trip in northern Saskatchewan on the Churchill River. Then we’re planning a second camp in the mountains west of Nordegg later in the summer.
There are many stories of how God is working in our camps, but let me tell you about a girl named Jelina. She has been a camper with us since she was 11 and has given her life to Jesus. She comes from a single parent (mom) home and because her mom has struggled with addictions she now lives with grandparents. Now at 15, she has a soft heart and a desire to serve the Lord. This winter she had the opportunity to go on a mission trip to Vancouver with Youth Unlimited. A few days after she got home from that trip, she and three of her cousins went to Toronto to be media interns with 100 Huntley Street! Jelina is excited about going to camp this summer and we see great leadership potential in her. Thanks again for making it possible for kids like Jelina to attend our camps!
