Prayer Reflection – January 5, 2024

Romans 12:1-2 (NIV)

Therefore, I urge you, brothers and sisters, in view of God’s mercy, to offer your bodies as a living sacrifice, holy and pleasing to God—this is your true and proper worship. Do not conform to the pattern of this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind. Then you will be able to test and approve what God’s will is—his good, pleasing and perfect will.

Wholeheartedly following Jesus.  Living in Him.  Trusting in Him.

This is the life that Jesus invites us into.  Offering our whole life to Him in worship.

And yet, we know how we can be easily distracted and become discouraged.

As you reflect on this Scripture from Romans 12, I invite you to pause with Jesus today and ask Him if there is anything that has been distracting you from Him.

May you be encouraged in Christ today and follow His leading.  Let’s pray for the people that he brings to mind, for them to hear His voice and go His way.

As you pause with Jesus in worship and prayer, here is a song that I wanted to share with you today.

Psalm 47
