Marriage is an amazing gift, and one of God's most powerful metaphors for the church, but it's also one of the hardest adventures anyone chooses to go on. A rollercoaster ride doesn't even begin to describe it. Whether you've been married for 50 years or are thinking about starting this adventure with an engagement, CrossRoads wants you to build the foundations for a relationship that will go the distance and last a life-time.

Below are 2 pre-marital courses as well as a weekend, which we offer here at Crossroads, to better prepare you for Marriage. Take time to prepare for the rest of your life together.
Prepare - Enrich
Prepare yourself for this next adventure, marriage, by improving your communication, learning to resolve conflict, and simply learning more about each other.
Through mentorship, this program helps identify a couple’s strengths and weaknesses, major sources of stress, and develops their communication and conflict-resolution skills. If you’re interested in taking the Prepare-Enrich program, register by clicking below and we will partner you with a mentor from CrossRoads as soon as possible.

Engaged Encounter Weekend
This weekend condenses 10 weeks of pre-marriage counselling into 48 hours.
The focus of Engaged Encounter is to learn how to communicate well with your partner. Learn from a team of married couples as they present on various topics such as marriage hot spots, conflict styles, finances, decision making, sex, and the art of listening. You will then have private time together with your fiance to discuss each topic and how it will look in your relationship.
This is the weekend to set aside your wedding planning and focus on establishing your marriage.
Cost: $360 per couple ($180/person)

Marriage Course
Enjoy a nice dinner in a romantic setting with a video series and private discussions with only your partner - building strong foundations, communication, resolving conflict, forgiveness, family past and present, and love in action.

Marriage Enrichment Weekend
This weekend is a special and unique time away for you and your spouse to escape to Ghost River, in the Rocky Mountains, and dedicate 48 hours to focus on your relationship.
Join a team of married couples as they present on various topics, God's biblical principles, and their real-life experiences. This weekend includes time together at a beautiful retreat center dedicated to learning techniques for a healthy marriage. Use this time with your spouse to explore and strengthen your marriage.
