Join Pastor Shawn again this week as we dive into Commandment #5 - Seasons of Honour. We will explore the guardrail of honouring your mother and father and how that applies to life enjoyment.
You can join us in person for our Outdoor Service at 11am. Register here.
Don't forget to invite your friends & family to join us as we continue this excellent summer series.
Many of you expressed how much you loved gathering together outside for service, so we’ve decided to do it twice more! *weather permitting
We are looking forward to gathering together again outdoors this Sunday, August 9th and the 16th at 11am.
For more information and to register, visit CrossRoadsChurch.ca/Attend
Many of you have heard the devastating news out of Beirut. The horrific explosion on Tuesday left many dead or injured and has destroyed the homes of over 300,000 people.
After fleeing their homeland, our sponsor families all made this area home for some time before moving to Canada. Mattheiu Accad, leader of CrossRoads Arabic Church and Director of Bridges of Love Lebanon has also asked us to pray with them and their team members.
Be sure to catch next Tuesday's update, August 11th at 3pm, for information and prayer requests from Matthieu on his team in Lebanon.
We look forward to welcoming everyone back. And this means we need you! If you've ever considered, thought about, or wondered about what it might be like to greet or usher on the Hospitality Team, care for our kids in Kids Ministry, or maybe you’re really good at cleaning... this is your opportunity! It will take the whole family to open the doors again.
To join our team, fill out our short form online at CrossRoadsChurch.ca/Serve. We'd love to have you join us as we re-launch!
We’re ready to embrace the sunshine and community time with Pop-Ups! Let’s learn together as families or individuals at Pop-Up Sunday School or Pop-Up Community.
There are a few more Sundays left in August to participate. Be sure to register at: CrossRoadsChurch.ca/Pop-Up.
Do you find yourself with some big life questions these days? Maybe you're wondering if there is more to life than this. Or, really, is there any hope?
We want to have these conversations! Join us on Tuesday nights starting Sept 15th to explore different life topics in a safe and non-judgmental space. We encourage you to visit CrossRoadsChurch.ca/Alpha for more information.
Is God inviting you to:
- engage with those new to faith
- connect with others
- go deeper with the sermon
- offer support to others
Or maybe to host and facilitate community?
Our Community Life team would love to chat with you, equip you and support you in this! Please message us at CommunityLife@CrossRoadsChurch.ca to start the conversation.
"We would like to say a very heartfelt thank you to all of our church community, whom we consider to be our family. We have been profoundly touched by all of your love and support. You have fed us and cared for us in so many ways, including beautiful flowers, acts of service and loving messages, and most importantly, you have spoken to our Heavenly Father on our behalf and for that we are eternally grateful. We know that Travis is safely with his Lord and Savior and that we will all be together again someday."
With deepest gratitude,
Bernie & Teresa Tenhove, Megan (Jess), Bowen & Rebekah (Gresham & Briar) Jayden & Brittany (Kalla), Taylor, Femmie and Shirley.

If you can't get online to join us for services, listen to the message every Sunday at 9am on ShineFM (90.5 on the FM dial).
