With the team slightly groggy from the late night touring Venice the previous day, we arose to take on the work day ahead! Fueled with a traditional Italian breakfast the team took to action. With one crew completing the Natural Italian stone retaining wall for the new deck going in, two teams working on the interior ceilings of the two new rooms, and another crew nearing completion of a new stone pathway being built from walking stones that were taken out of a castle with a value exceeding the entire price of the camp property!
Ring! Ring! Ring!
As the team hears the dinner bell rung by Raney Brown they are met with the aroma of a beautiful authentic Italian meal of penne pasta with homemade beetroot and radicchio pasta sauce followed by the second course of turkey and a garden salad!
For dinner we had a delicious zucchini carbonara followed by an Italian style meatloaf. The dinner was followed by a Bible study, then awe inspiring dance performance by David.
All in all, it was a good and productive day.
