Last night, our Global Impact Team of 11 gathered at the church! They arrived around 6:00 p.m. with loved ones. We shared a bit and each team member described how they were feeling, all in all it was about excitement, being stoked, pumped, content and nervous... all totally legit feelings! Those who came, gathered around the team and prayed over them before saying goodbyes.

The team had a short final meeting, grabbed some pizza, and a final round of loading bags and checks for passports (some miracles already in this category), then they headed to their airport hotel in Calgary.
Thank you Tim for volunteering to help get the team there!
And then came the early morning! The whole team was up and at the airport, catching the 3:45 a.m. shuttle. Yikes! Their flight was delayed about an hour, but they have now landed safely in Montreal.
After some lunch and a short break, they’ll continue on to Zurich for their overnight flight. Once they wake up in Europe, it’s a quick 50-minute flight to Milan, where they’ll meet up with Raney Brown and officially begin the next part of their adventure.
We’re grateful for safe travels so far and are praying for the team as they journey, serve, learn, and share God’s love. The adventure is underway!

(lunch in Montreal- proof the whole crew made it out of Calgary!)
One final note, to all those that have given, are praying or supporting the team in any way, please know they are so grateful! The team is fully funded and we are so excited to share the fundraising event was extremely successful!
